  7. This article is written  because of the                     
  8. article   WREKO  OF  BALANCE  wrote  in      
  9. MAGBOX  issue 2, and  because I (pearl)    
  10. think  it's  a good subject to discuss.  
  11. To  everybody  who  have  not read  the    
  12. article   called  "charts"  in  Magbox,     
  13. will I short tell  what  Wreko  of  Blc    
  14. wrote.                                 
  15. He  wrote  something  about  a new kind    
  16. of  chart, this  chart  should  artists      
  17. be  the  only  one  who  was voting for     
  18. "the  best  gfx-men",  the   coders  on     
  19. "the best coders" and so on.           
  20. But  everybody  should  vote  for demos    
  21. ,packs etc.                            
  22. He  also  wrote  that  charts  was lame     
  23. because  of  demos  like: ELYSIUM   and      
  24. SUBSTANCE  was placed  so  high in  the
  25. chart, he  didn't  like 'em  cause they
  26. were old.                         
  27. He  give  the  reason to  his  idea  of      
  28. only   letting    the    musicans  vote         
  29. for  the  musicans  etc.  by  that most     
  30. of  the  voters  were   swappers  " and       
  31. they didn't know anything about what 
  32. was good and what was not so good.               
  33. For the first I want to say that I like      
  34. the weird idea with  only  letting  the         
  35. classes  vote  for 'em self, and I will         
  36. also say you are right  about there are       
  37. laying  many  old guys on the chart for        
  38. some stuff they made years ago.              
  39. But   then  again   don't   you   think               
  40. THE SPY / TSL   is  a  skilled coder???         
  41. Cause the last  thing  he  released was        
  42. HARDWIRED  and that was released around       
  43. CHRISTMAS 1991 (about a year ago) (What
  44. about the Cat-Demo ?? ed.).            
  45. And  I  think  that the reason to there         
  46. isn't  as  much  move  in  the chart of           
  47. one-parted  demos  is  the  reason that          
  48. people   now   a  days  are   releasing
  49. trackmos or dentros. You could call the
  50. dentros  for  one-parted  demos but are
  51. they ??? So the reason is proberly that
  52. there  isn't so many smaldemos released
  53. more!       
  54. So  are  there  also the thing with the     
  55. swappers, "they don't know ........", I 
  56. think you is terrible wrong there!  You
  57. can't  say  that some people don't know 
  58. if music is good or bad, for instance I
  59. like techno some guys don't do I so not
  60. know what is good or bad music?                                   
  61. I think we live in a free world(almost)  
  62. and  everybody  can  say  their opinion      
  63. about   everything, and  that  is  also        
  64. counting the charts! I'm a  swapper and
  65. if  I  think CONNOR / BALANCE is a nice
  66. drawer,  am  I then wrong because I'm a
  67. swapper???           
  68. I  don't  think  so  and I  think  that        
  69. the  charts  are   well   organized  as         
  70. they are now! But then again  there are
  71. many who just  is  voting  on  a person
  72. because  some  freinds   says  that  he
  73. is  a  cool  musican or what ever!                    
  74. okay I think I wanna' end this article,
  75. but I would like if Wreko( if  you  see
  76. this) write an anwser to me, or some of
  77. you other  guys out there who is owning 
  78. an opinion would write and take part...
